Quadrupel is the strongest and most full-bodied member of the Trappist ale family. For this beer, we used exclusively pale malts; its deep chestnut color comes from an extended three-hour boil and the addition of our own house-made dark caramelized sugar syrup. The palate reveals rich malt character, toffee, dried fruits, and gentle sweetness, supported by a full, rounded body and enhanced by fruity, spicy esters typical of Belgian yeast.
